Elmer's Diner
Today I was in a local diner and heard talk about the new diner, Elmer's, on North Street. It isn't open yet but should be soon.
Dbyblogger didn't realize that it's going to be a 24 hour diner, 7 days a week and it is going to take on an oldies theme...possibly waitresses on skates - you know that type of thing.
Just thought we would share that with you all...Best of luck to the staff at Elmers!

Will Elmer's and the New Holdiay Diner be the only 24/7 in town?
It's really cool that there is a new diner like that opening up. I wish it was in a better location but I pass by North Street everyday and it looks like they will have a decent sized parking lot.
This whole diner situation on North Street will be a mess. I understand these planning and zoning measures were done before Boughton was first elected but isn't there some say he has in this matter?
I doubt he has much say once everything has been approved, besides if he went around stopping all the dvelopment he'd get the city sued left and right which would but us worse off. The best thing to do is to prevent this from happening again in a few years.
guess your on vacation again
I hope P&Z/Highway reviews their homework...a traffic light would be nice coming out of Elmers.
I don't see where people are going to park, it is a horrible intersection especially facing the idiots that come flying down (new fairfield) direction.
To the first commentor on this post (anonymous) I think Elmers, New Holiday and 3 brothers will be the ones open 24/7. Windmill is only open to 11 or 12 I believe.
Actually parking doesn't look so bad anymore its teh traffic that is going to be a headache.
