"While many students are shining, some are not getting the resources they need."

Governor Rell has proposed a major increase in school funding. The increase would provide opportunity for all students and provide property tax relief for families.
Please visit the Connecticut Education Association website and ask your state senator and representative to vote, "yes," on an Act implementing the Governor's budget recommendations, regarding education by clicking here.

The dems and republicans at the capitol have already stated that Rell's education proposal is dead in the water.

Wrong-The Dems are saying they are going to fund it-they just don't know how. R's don't count up there.

No they did not say that. They said they don't support Rell's cuttting of other services and her numbers. It's unclear of the education can be funded as is because the governor's budget has so many holes in it.

Try watching CT-N before commenting. Better yet, do what I do and CALL YOUR STATE REP.

OK so which State Rep.? The Democrat who won't support the Gov.s budget because the Gov. is a Republican? Or the Republican who doesn't care what they say because they don't matter anyways...
Don't believe what your State Rep. tells you.

Hey silly, how about start with YOUR OWN STATE REP. Also NEWSFLASH but the Republicans are up in arms over Rell's budget also. Give David Cappiello a call.

I rather not beleive a word your saying since you obviously don't know what the hell you're talking about. Again, before you comment (or put a post on this site) why don't you do your homework or tune to CT-N or WATCH THE HEARINGS ONLINE AND LISTEN TO THE COMMENTS FROM ALL THE STATE REPS.

...or are you too busy watching the FOXNews channel. That would explain everything.

Pretty sad folks if you don't know who your state representative and senator are.

Let me tell you all that Ms. Rell knows how I feel about her State of Connecticut Budget.

I think everyone including myself who have no political authority let the office of the governor know how screwy this is.
